I am Lori Anna, or just Lori or just Anna......literally answer to just about any variation of that.

I am 43 years old (or young) either way, I have been doing this life gig for 15,695 days.

I am a corporate controller (fancy name for accountant), I love my career but often find myself craving the world of whimsy, art and fun. This blog is my way of bringing that into my life.

I am a Mom ... to three teenagers.

• Twin boys who will graduate from Highschool in 2010 and play an unrealistic amount of baseball.

• A daughter who is 15 and looks and acts pretty much just like me. 

I am a daughter, my parents are wonderful and my Mother is battling cancer. I try very hard not to bring the sadness to annabella but it does creep in occasionally.

I love being a Mom, love the conversations I have with my kids and their friends, and love that I am open enough to learn and grow through my relationships with the younger set.

I hate the word hobby, it just seems so unimportant so I won't use it but I love {nonprofessionally speaking} photography, writing, design and all things visually appealing

I adore shoes, very sharp real pencils, pearls, my fabulous red shoes, thunderstorms, my porch swing, red wine and a good dry martini on occasions.

I don't adore bananas, or really fruit of any kind, purple, cold weather, ugly shoes (crocs), and birds really kind of freak me out.
