Pretty much a perfect day yesterday. No wind, mild temperatures and beautiful light. An evening scheduled with my boys, on the agenda senior pictures.Pictures delayed so many times because of baseball and rain. Worth the wait, absolutely.
The photo’s are fine, I’m not a professional but they wanted me to do it. The two hours we spent taking them, worth every delay and worry I had. Technically the top photo has issues, I know that...the sky is blown.
Can a blown sky symbolize the future, a little unknown, a bit scary but exciting Their backs are to me, no eye contact but that is where we are now.
I am behind them forever but the future is theirs to grab and make their own.
One of the last shots of the day. My exact words were "Boys, can we do a couple without the gloves" Gloves were tossed, just as I’ve seen them for fifteen years or so They almost moved them out of the shot but at the last second I said NO they kind of need to be there. They are a part of your picture, your life.
Probably will be sharing more, as I am starting to feel very sentimental as this chapter has only a few pages left and the sequel is yet to be written. They do indeed grow up very fast.
I didn't have any sons...we raised three daughters...I expect it is hard to wrap your mind around the fact that these strapping, broad shouldered young men are your. Congratulations.
Good pictures, as usual.

Great photos, Indeed, too fast. But the good thing is that they are there, still, in your heart, now and always.
